Walkee Paws aren't ideal for...
Teeny-tiny dogs under 5 lbs, very large canines, or pups with large paws & short legs, including: Basset Hounds, Bernese Mountain Dogs, Corgis, Dachshunds, Great Danes, Greyhounds, Pit/Pit Mixes, Rottweilers, Saint Bernards, Shar-Peis, Whippets.
Measure To Be Sure
Just 2 quick measurements to find your fit.
Take both measurements without fur (see how below ↓):
- Paw width: across the front paw pad
- Height: floor to top of shoulder blades
Step 1: Start with paw width.
Find your dog’s paw width in the chart. If it falls between two sizes, choose the larger one.
Step 2: Check height.
If your dog is taller than the range for that size, size up so the leg straps fit.
✅ Example: Paw 1¾", height 20". Paw width points to S, but 20" is taller than S’s range (11–18"), so choose S/M.
Big paws but short legs? If your dog is shorter than the range for its paw size, Walkee Paws may not be the right fit. Reach out and we’ll help.
Adjustable straps allow flexibility for different heights and back lengths.
How to measure PAW WIDTH
While your dog is standing, gently bend one paw backwards (this is less likely to bother your pup).
Measure just the paw pad area, from the inside of one paw pad to the other (excluding fur)
How to measure HEIGHT
Place the measuring tape at the floor, right by the front paw.
Measure straight up to the top of the back (shoulder blades area), excluding fur.
